At Paani we strive to provide you with convenient, healthy and tasty products. You may still have questions before placing your order, here are some FAQ’s to help you understand how we operate:

How do the meals arrive ?

Food  safety is our highest priority. Meals leave our facility frozen in an insulated bag with an ice pack, which will keep your food frozen for up to 2 hours. Place them immediately in the freezer. Our dishes should be consumed within 6 months as long as they have been kept in your freezer.

Will I be notified what time I will receive my meals on the day of the delivery

You will be notified via text what time you will receive your delivery.

Can I pick up my meals?

Unfortunately we do not have a pick up location. All our meals are delivered.

What are your delivery options?

We deliver to most zip codes in the Metro Detroit area. We also service to Ann arbor, Flint, Grand Blanc and Port Huron on specific days, with additional delivery fees. Please contact us for those dates.

Is there a delivery fee?

Yes, a delivery fee does apply. Our delivery fee consists of the cost to hand deliver your products contact free to your doorstep along with the cost of insulated bags and ice packs when required. The delivery fee is determined once the delivery address is entered at checkout.

What is the best way to heat the meals?

We recommend taking the meals out of the freezer a day before you plan to eat them and store them in the refrigerator. Heating and cooking instruction are on the labels of the meal. For best results you can warm up our food on the stove top.

Why Frozen?

Our chefs have been professionally trained to prepare fresh food that is "fast frozen" in order to lock in the flavor and nutrients. This allows the food to retain its vitamins and minerals without the use of preservatives or changes to the carbohydrate, protein or fat content.

Are your chef's trained and certified?

Our head chef is licensed and certified with the state of Michigan and manufactures all the products in a commercial licensed kitchen.

Where can I see the nutritional information our dishes?

Once you" Explore Our Products", you can click on any dish and you will be directed to a detailed page of that product. You will learn more about each dish, including  thawing, heating or cooking Instructions including Nutrition facts, allergens and ingredients. All our containers also have this detail information on the labels.

Do you use any additives/colors/preservatives?

None whatsoever.

Is all your food organic or Non-Gmo?

No. While some of our ingredients include these titles not all vegetables and ingredients used are organic. We try to purchase organic as much as possible.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Our food is made using equipment in a shared facility. While we take steps to sanitize between allergens, cross-contamination is likely. All our meals are labelled with known allergens.

Where do you source your ingredients from?

All of our fresh vegetables and legumes are purchased at local grocery stores. Some of our dry spices come from India. We follow the full traceability of every batch of our meals produced in our commercial kitchen.

Are all your packing materials recyclable?

Our Containers are recyclable and reusable. We recycle our delivery bags by  requesting you to leave your used delivery bag on your front porch for our drivers to pick up. 

Refund and Return Policy?

Due to the perishable nature of our product, we are unable to accept returns. In the event you receive an incorrect or damaged order, please contact us immediately via email at info@paanibox.com. We will first attempt to replace the order, if circumstances make that impossible, we will refund you at your original form of payment.
